Join Marco and Paul plus our 1st ever guest host, owner of Legion Podcasts Network and Japanese splatter horror super fan, Bo Ransdell. In a simple search of movies featuring girls with guns, I discovered 2 from Japan, The Machine Girl (2008) and Gun Woman (2014), that are very different in tone but worked so well together. We talk about the unfortunate mistreatment of women in many of these movies and which ones may be worse than others. Bo knows way more about the genre than either of us and gives a bunch of suggestions and insight plus he promises to hold our hand as we take a future journey through the tentacles, aliens, monsters, rape zombies, toilet mutants and murderous schoolgirls in these movies. We had a blast recording this and I guarantee that we’ll be returning to Japan again someday.
