Hellraiser and the sequel Hellbound:Hellraiser 2 are a different breed of horror film. There’s a much stronger connection to the sexual side of horror and gore than other horror films. The horror and gore is still there but it’s different than boobs in a shower. I feel like Hellraiser was the inspiration for the line in Bush’s “Everything Zen” that goes “there’s no sex in your violence”. Well here you go Gavin Rossdale!
