Hello! This is the Doomed Show!

Hello! This is the Doomed Show is the demented brainchild of two states-away duders, Brad and Richard, whose mutual love of horror movies inspired them to talk and talk forever. One day, they just started recording these dialogues. Now they’re joined by co-hosts Jeffrey and Nafa, thus completing the quadrilogy of nerdy voices. Listen as these oddballs delve ever deeper into the wild worlds of the slasher, the giallo, and Euro-horror with a healthy dash of cult films thrown in for good measure.

  • Hello! This is the Doomed Show #139 – Demons 5: The Devil’s Veil -   Jeffrey and Richard talk about LamBava’s quasi-remake of Mario Bava’s Black Sunday, Demons 5: The Devil’s Veil AKA La maschera del demonio (1989). Was Richard too sick to record? Yes. Did he let that stop him? Unfortunately no. As usual, things get strange and out of control but that’s what LamBava is all about. Enjoy! • Hello! This is the Doomed Show #137 – The Crimes of the Black Cat - The priest did it! The priest did it! Which would be a spoiler if this movie had a priest in it. Anyway, Simon and Richard talk about The Crimes of the Black Cat (1972), a fun giallo which everyone should see if they’re willing to track it down. Even more exciting, Simon officially joins the Doomed Show team. Welcome him or suffer the cat claws of doom! (Oh and Richard plugs his book at least twice.) • Hello! This is the Doomed Show #135 – Paganini Horror - In what could be the most rockin’ episode of H!TITDS, Jeffrey and Richard talk about one of the most unfairly (or maybe fairly) obscure Italian horror films. From the mind of Luigi Cozzi in 1989, it’s Paganini Horror! This one’s got Donald Pleasence and his little demons and Daria Nicolodi and her not so little shoulder pads. Both are lovely! But you should listen anyway as Richard and Simon try and figure out whose boobs they’re talking about. Podcast: Play in new window | Download
