It’s fitting that “The End” caps off Season 1 where we explored the films of Turd Ferguson. This movie comes to represent all we know and love about Burt Reynolds movies in every good way and every bad way. It’s a dark comedy that’s neither dark, nor arguably a comedy. It’s tonal mosaic of a poorly constructed narrative wrapped around a narcissistic protagonist. And did we mention Mr. Reynolds not only stars but directs as well? Join us as we explore this mentally disturbed attempt at making a comedy about terminal illnesses and suicide.
